Intel and Micro first astonished the world when they released the 34nm 32 gigabit multi-level cell chip. Now they’re at it again, it appears that IMFT is sampling two bit per cell 25nm NAND, which in due time will push production prices down, and capacity sizes up. By the end of the year, we will expect to see the third generation Intel X25-M’s in 160GB, 320GB and 600GB capacities, this is one thing I’m sure everyone is looking forward to.
Apple iPad Specifications!

Well, I’m sure you all know by now that apple is releasing the new Apple iPad. According to many blogs the iPad is expected to be released in Q1 of 2010, possibly April. According to Apples iPad website, the iPad has a 9.7-inch LED backlit glossy Multi-Touch widescreen, and comes in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB flavors, cool! Also, the iPad comes equipped with a wireless 802.11a/b/g/n radio, and even models with 3G. What does this mean to you? This means you have wireless internet where ever you have wifi or 3G service! So go ahead and take your iPad to starbucks and chat on msn, or read emails, or take it with you to class to take notes. Whats the battery life on this bad boy? According to Apple and PCWorld this bad boy pumps out a hefty 10 hour battery life, that’s enough to rival the best of netbooks. So how hard will the iPad hurt your wallet? From many sources it seems that it starts at $499 for the basic 16GB model with no 3G, and steadily increases with storage size and added 3G.
All in all, I am very excited for the Apple iPad.
